“I enjoyed my walk with Shaffi and he was a good guide. The trip started in the field near the river. This was once full of homes which were destroyed and inhabitants killed during the genocide, it’s now used to grow small crops of beans, maize and sweet potato. The hike up the hill was pleasant and Shaffi was personable and easy to get on with. We had some interesting conversations. The only reason I’ve not given 5/5 is that the story-telling part was a bit lacking. I’d like to have heard more about village life and customs in the community. I’d have loved more detail.
